Shrewsbury Food Hub is administering a £7500 grant scheme on behalf of the Shropshire Food Poverty Alliance for Shropshire food banks and community food aid organisations with funding from the Shropshire Masonic Charitable Association and Masonic Charitable Foundation.
Organisations can apply for grants of up to £750 to support their response to the emergency situation presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. Funds are available to purchase food and other essential household items, purchase materials and equipment to help meet increased need due to Covid-19, and a contribution towards related staff and volunteer costs.
Applications are open until 31st July 2020.
